The Promise of Two [Riverbend, Texas Heat] (Siren Publishing Ménage Everlasting) Page 4

The next afternoon the three of them pulled up outside CJ and Vernon’s friend’s home. Nerves had frogs bowling in her stomach at the thought of meeting a ménage family and discussing openly their relationship. She had written down all sorts of questions but didn’t bring the list. Now, she couldn’t think of a single question she had wanted to ask.

“Easy, Jill. You’re shaking all over. They’re just people like you and me.” CJ squeezed her hand.

Vernon took her other hand and held it tightly as if knowing she was a nervous wreck. When he didn’t say anything, she looked over at him and found that he was fidgety himself. Why?

CJ knocked on the door. Almost immediately, the door opened. A pert-looking teenager of about fourteen answered the door. She frowned then shrugged and turned to holler behind her.

“Mom! Someone’s here to see you or the Dads.” She continued to stand there holding the door.

A cute, curvy woman of about thirty-six or so walked up behind the teenager and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

“Hi, CJ. Hi, Vernon. Come on in.” She stepped aside as the teenager turned and left.

“That was my oldest, Kate. She’s expecting a friend over.”

“Pat, this is Jill. Pat is a web and artwork designer.” CJ made the introductions.

Jill held out her hand and shook it.

“I’m a nurse at the hospital. It’s nice to meet you.”

“Where are the guys?” Vernon asked.

“They’ll be here in a minute. Greg is upstairs helping our youngest with his homework and David went to pick up Andy from soccer practice.”

“I hope we aren’t imposing. You’re bound to be busy.” Jill couldn’t imagine taking care of a ménage family with kids.

“Not at all. This is everyday living here. The kids keep us all busy. Actually, though, I was reading. The guys have everything under control. Come on and have a seat. Would you like coffee, tea?”

  “No, thank you.”

About that time, a kid of about ten ran through the living room toward the stairs leading up. He was followed at a more sedate pace by a tall, sandy-blond-haired man of about thirty-seven or -eight. When he saw them, he grinned and shook everyone’s hands.

“Here’s David now. David, this is Jill, Vernon and CJ’s friend.”

David shook her hand. “Great to meet you, Jill. Have a seat.”

  Jill smiled back at him.

“Greg still working with Caro on her colors?” David asked.

“Yeah. You know how she is. You can’t get her to concentrate when she has something else on her mind.”

“I’ll run up and get Greg, which will give her a break.” David bounded up the stairs.

It wasn’t long until Greg and David descended the stairs and took a seat in the two lounge chairs. Jill and her men were sitting on the couch. Her men. She realized she already thought of them as hers. Hers to what? To fuck, care for, love, or live with?

“So what can we tell you?” Pat started the conversation off right away.

“I don’t know where to begin.”

“Let’s start with the obvious questions. How do we get along all the time? We don’t. We have fights just like any couple. Usually it’s between me and one of the men or me and both of the men. The guys rarely have disagreements between them. Usually when they do it’s concerning the children. Greg tends to be a little more lenient than David.”

“Greg lets them get away with murder.” Greg smirked at David, who huffed out a breath but refrained from taking the bait.

“What about jealousy among you?” she asked.

“There’s none to speak of. We all get quality time together and separately. We don’t keep a count if that’s what you’re thinking. It balances out in the long run. Sometimes one of us will ask the other for a night alone with Pat. The other one will keep the kids and they get their quality time. It’s no big deal.” David shrugged. “In all the years we’ve been married, I can’t think of a single time I’ve resented or been jealous of Greg.”

“We’ve been envious of certain types of relationships each of us has with her, but that’s normal. David understands her computer programs and they spend time together working on them. She and I are more athletic than David is, so we run each morning and work out together most of the time.”

They talked for another hour with Pat making coffee and serving it to them along with cookies. Then CJ and Vernon stood up to go, pulling Jill with them.

“We’d better go. Thanks for letting us come over and talk, you guys. We appreciate it.” CJ wrapped an arm around Jill.

They drove back to the guys’ house in silence. The men were obviously letting her mull the information over in her head. Did it make a difference? Maybe. She had a lot to think about. All she knew for sure was that she loved them and didn’t want to lose their relationship.

Once they were back inside the house, she threw herself on the couch and sighed. She needed to think, but without the men around. Jumping to her feet, Jill reached for her purse once again and turned to where the men were standing in front of the TV.

“Guys, I’m going for a drive. I might stop and get coffee. I’ll be back in a couple of hours.”

Vernon hesitated but nodded. “Be careful, baby. Pay attention to the traffic.”

She rolled her eyes. They were both almost overprotective of her. It was another thing to consider. How would she handle their constant worrying about her? It gave her a warm feeling, but would it become aggravating over time?

She climbed into her SUV and backed out of the driveway. She headed for town and the diner. There might not be many people there at three thirty. She could sit and think. If not, she would get her coffee to go and head out to the pond and think.

As it was, the diner was almost deserted. She ordered coffee and sat in a back booth so she could see who came and went. She didn’t want to talk to anyone while she contemplated her future.

She thought back over her childhood and then her teenage years. If she looked hard enough, she could find where their relationship had subtly changed about when she was seventeen. They had gotten more protective of her and tended to spend more time with her. Yeah, they had dated, and she knew they had had girlfriends over the last five years. Still, they always kept her close by and were there anytime something happened in her life.

Was she being overly dramatic about all of it, making a mountain out of a molehill? Surely not. This was the rest of her life she was planning. At least it was to her. If she went into a relationship with them, it would be for life as far as she was concerned. There would be no backing out.

As far as Pat was concerned, she had the best of both worlds in that she had friends when she needed them and husbands when she needed them. They shared everything, and with two men, there was plenty of money coming in so she could do her home-based business and still take care of the kids. There was always someone to help with a project, homework, cleanup, and whatever else life threw their way.

Yes, they got odd looks and were talked about behind their backs and occasionally to their face, but for the most part, people ignored it and left them alone. Would it bother her to be ridiculed or talked about? No, she’d never cared what anyone else thought about her. But what about her job? She loved nursing. Could they fire her for living with two men? She didn’t think so. There were several couples in gay relationships, and it didn’t make any difference to their jobs.

Jill realized she’d covered most everything and couldn’t find a single reason that would withstand Jill or her arguments not to give the ménage lifestyle a try. With her mind made up, she paid for her coffee and headed back to their place. When she drove up, she sat there for several minutes thinking about what she would say to them. It had been a tough decision for her, and she wanted them to know that. This would decide their future relationship from here on forward.

Jill climbed out of the SUV and walked up to the door. Should she knock or just go on in? As it was, CJ
opened the door with a serious expression.

“You don’t have to knock, Jill.”

“I was just getting up the courage to come in.”

She heard Vernon’s indrawn breath from where she stood in the hallway. She didn’t wait on CJ to escort her in. She’d already made a mistake hesitating at the door. She had to appear set in her decision. She knew she couldn’t fool them and they would call her on any sign of indecision.

“Sit down, Jill.” Vernon patted the couch.

“I need to stand. I don’t think I can be still.” She clasped her hands together to keep them still.

“What did you decide?” Vernon finally asked.

She took a deep breath and began. “I love you both more than words can say. You’re my best friends. I can confide in you and have on many occasions. You’re always there for me to cry on your shoulder, and no matter how mad I get, you don’t run or back away. Despite our ups and downs, we’ve always made it work. I want to make it work now.”

“What exactly are you saying, Jill?” Vernon was going to make her say it.

  “I’ll move in with you.”

CJ grinned, but Vernon shook his head.

  “What?”

“We want more than that. We’ve laid all our cards on the table. We want marriage. Moving in is just a step. I want to know you are ours for the rest of our lives.”

There was that possessive thing. But he had said our and not mine. He was including CJ just like they were a pair that came together. And they did. Could she tell them now that she would marry them? Was she that far in her decision? To Vernon it was all or nothing. She hadn’t planned on that. She couldn’t ask for more time to think about it. They expected her decision now.

“Do you promise to always work things out among us? No sulking alone?”

  “I do,” CJ answered immediately.

“I don’t sulk.” Vernon’s lips thinned into a straight line.

“This is a big step you’re asking me to take.”

Both men remained where they were. Vernon was squeezing his hands into fists at his side as if trying to keep from reaching for her. She hadn’t realized just how important this was to him until now.

“This is ’til death do us part. I’m not going to accept a divorce a few months or even a few years down the road because one of you found someone else you love more. You’re stuck with me for life.” There, she’d said it.

For a moment, both men just stood there looking at her. Then CJ ate up the distance between them in long strides and picked her up to swing her around. Before she could catch her breath, Vernon pulled her out of the other man’s arms and squeezed her tightly against his chest.

“Easy, Vernon, you’re suffocating her.” CJ was laughing.

Vernon loosened his grip but didn’t put her down. Instead, he carried her toward the stairs.

Jill laughed when she realized what his intentions were. They were headed for the bedroom and, no doubt, sex. No, making love. They didn’t just fuck her. They seduced her and satisfied her both physically and emotionally. That was making love, and it looked like she was about to get some loving.

  Chapter Seven

Vernon carried her up the stairs with CJ right behind them. She shivered with excitement and anticipation. When they arrived in the bedroom, Vernon eased her to the floor and took her face between his hands as he leaned forward to kiss her. She was vaguely aware of CJ removing her clothes with slow, measured movements as if trying not to interfere with Vernon’s kiss.

She opened her mouth to his ministrations as he simply licked along her lips then around the inside of her mouth. He sucked in her lower lip and teased it with his tongue before moving on to slide it alongside hers. Heat centered at her core as her cunt spilled her juices down her thighs.

“Bed, Vernon. I want her pussy. I can smell her sweet honey.”

Vernon hummed into her mouth but finally pulled away and backed her up to the bed where he lifted her and laid her back on the covers.

She didn’t have to be told to spread her legs. She let them fall open in expectation of CJ’s mouth at her pussy. He started at her thighs and licked his way up first one then the other, cleaning her juices as he went. The sensation left her shivering in his wake. The closer his mouth got to her cunt, the hotter her blood raged through her body.

Vernon covered her breast with his mouth and sucked for all he was worth. He crammed as much of it into his mouth before backing off and concentrating on her nipple. His other hand tweaked and pinched the other nipple, sending lines of sensation straight to her cunt. Between the two men, she began to squirm. The intense feelings were beginning to drive her wild. It was too much and not enough.

Her nipples were on fire from Vernon’s nipping and pinching. Her clit began to tingle from the stimulation of her nipples. She’d never thought about there being a direct correlation between the two before. Now, it was almost overwhelming. She couldn’t stop the whimper that eased from her throat.

Vernon chuckled, and it vibrated around her breast and further affected her clit.

  “Oh, God. I’m so close.”

CJ latched onto her pussy lips and began sucking them into his mouth, rolling them and pulling on them. Her cunt needed something to fill it. When he pushed two fingers inside her, Jill hissed out a yes! Still, it wasn’t enough. She needed a cock to stretch her to that point of painful pleasure.

  “More! Please, more.”

CJ curled his fingers and began stroking her hot spot while he lapped at her clit in long, hard strokes. She felt the explosion whipping along her spine and center in her clit before it tore over her and through her. She screamed and bucked beneath the two men. Barely had she come down before CJ was urging her to turn over to her hands and knees.

“I want to watch you suck Vernon’s big cock, baby. How much of him can you handle?”

Jill stared across at Vernon as he removed his jeans. His dick was standing out away from his abdomen, heavy with arousal. He moved until he was at mouth level with her and urged her with it against her lips. She licked delicately up the thick stalk using just the tip of her tongue. He groaned for her. Encouraged, she flattened her tongue and did it with more pressure.

“Fuck, baby. Suck it. You’re killing me.”

She smiled and opened her mouth wide. He pushed just the cockhead inside her mouth, and she latched onto it, sucking hard. Vernon grabbed her head in both hands, curling his fingers into her hair and scalp.

Jill hummed her approval as she swirled her tongue around the stalk of Vernon’s dick. Then she pulled almost off and sucked her way back down until his cock reached the back of her throat. He groaned. When she backed off of him it was to find a drop of pre-cum glistening in the slit. She licked it, moaning at the tangy taste of him. He hissed out a breath and tightened his fist in her hair.

She drew in a deep breath, and excitement at his dominance burned in her blood. She never knew she would like anything like that. Then CJ grabbed her attention by fitting his cock at her slit and pushing forward. Her juices paved his way, but he still had to stop and pull back to start again. Between the pressure of his dick inching its way inside her wet cunt and the tug of Vernon’s hands in her hair, Jill couldn’t concentrate on either one of them.

“I’m going to fuck your lovely mouth, baby. Just relax and open wide for me.” Vernon’s slow, deep drawl curled inside her stomach and left her relaxed as he carefully tunneled into her mouth with his thick cock.

He fucked her all the way to the back of her throat and stopped. She relaxed the muscles in her neck and pushed forward, taking more of him than she had thought possible. She quickly came off of him.

“Fuck! Do that again, baby.” He quickly entered her mouth and let her swallow him down once again.

“Hold off, Vernon. I’ve got to get in her pussy. She’s so fucking tight after she came like she did.”

CJ pulled almost all the way out of her wet pussy and thrust back in until he was balls deep
in her cunt, bumping her cervix in the process. She hissed out a yes at the sweet pleasure-pain. No one had ever done that before. It was perfect. He continued to pump in and out of her, swiveling his hips so that he rasped over her hot spot with almost every push of his cock inside her pussy.

Vernon returned to face-fucking her in long, quick strokes. She groaned around him as he began to lose his rhythm. She wanted to grab his ass and squeeze, but couldn’t move with CJ tunneling in and out of her like he was. Instead, she let her teeth rasp over his cock and applied as much suction as she could until he began to massage her scalp as ribbons of scalding hot cum shot from his cock into her mouth and down her throat. She swallowed as fast as she could, but still some slipped from her mouth to coat her lips and chin.

“Aw hell, baby. That was so good.” Vernon wiped her chin and let her suck it off his finger.

CJ tightened his grip on her ass and began pummeling her, driving her up the bed as he did. Vernon reached beneath her and pulled and pinched her nipples until between all the stimulation, she began to float upward toward her climax. The pressure of CJ pounding in her pussy while Vernon tended to her breasts sent heat searing up her spine and outward into her bloodstream.

“Oh, God! Please. Do something. It’s so close.”

“Relax, baby. Let us take you there. We’ll take care of you. We’ll always take care of you.” CJ’s breathless words seared themselves into her soul.

She knew he was telling her more than just about the sex and her climax. He was promising her that the two of them would always love her and take care of her.

He shifted his stance and began to pump into her faster than before until she could no longer hold on to the thin thread of control she’d held on to. She exploded into tiny fragments and shot through space to reform, exhausted and sated on the bed between her two men.

She opened her eyes to find the two of them lying on either side of her. She hadn’t passed out so much as zoned out as her body began to recover from the amazing orgasm they had given her.

Jill knew then even if she hadn’t been sure before that she was sure now of her decision. She wanted to be their wife and trusted them to always be there for her. Nothing would change their friendship. Instead, they were just making it stronger.
