While Jayson kissed her and soothed her as she floated down, Joshua rolled on a condom and lined his cock up with her slit.

“Please, baby. Let it be okay. I want you.”

She couldn’t speak yet. She panted and nodded her head. She wanted him to fill her up. She wanted to feel him shoving his thick dick inside her. God help her, she wanted it all.

Joshua bent her knees toward her chest and plunged deep into her cunt.

  Chapter Nine

Oh, God. He was so big. She felt him touch every part of her cunt. He pulled out and rasped over her hot spot. Pushing deep, he touched her cervix. She urged him faster, but he continued slow and steady, driving her crazy while shoving her up once again. She threw back her head and grabbed at his wrists to try and pull herself harder on his cock, but he didn’t budge.

When she opened her mouth to demand that he go faster, Jayson lodged his dick deep into her throat. She screamed around him in frustration.

“Fuck, do that again, Haley. That vibrated all the way up my cock into my balls.”

She screamed and then sucked, hollowing her cheeks with the suction. Jayson cursed and pulled almost all the way out before slipping back in going a little deeper this time. He held his cock with one hand and her head with the other. When he pushed a little further down her throat, she caught him by surprise and swallowed around his dick.

He shouted out. “Hell, yeah. Swallow my cock, baby.”

Her lips were stretched wide around his thick dick. It was almost painful to take him in her mouth. She couldn’t concentrate on him while Joshua was pumping his cock in and out of her burning cunt. Pressure was building inside of her once again. Her blood burned through her veins as he ground his pelvis against her clit with each thrust. Her pussy sucked at him as he withdrew, trying to stop him from leaving each time.

Still, he didn’t give her what she wanted. She needed a heavier bump against her cervix and a faster pace. Why wasn’t he giving it to her? She pulled off of Jayson.

“Faster, Joshua. Fuck me harder. I need more.”

Then she returned to Jayson’s cock, thankful that Joshua listened at least a little bit. He began to go faster, but he still didn’t hit her cervix as hard as she wanted. Regardless, she was shooting up higher and higher with both Jayson and Joshua’s cocks urging her on. Having a cock in her mouth fucking her face with Joshua’s hammering away at her pussy completely did it for her. She never would have believed it, but the combination was something she wouldn’t be able to get enough of.

Joy burst from inside her as a second climax ripped through her body, tearing a scream from her lips. Jayson shouted out when she screamed around his dick and began to falter in his rhythm.

“Aw, hell, baby. I’m going to come. Swallow it all, Haley.” He quivered then cum hit the back of her throat as he climaxed.

He gently pulled from her mouth as she licked him free of his juices. He smoothed her hair from her sweaty brow and lay down next to her, whispering how special she was in her ear.

Joshua thrust his cock in and out of her over and over until he finally reached the point of no return and filled the condom with his cum. She felt the heat of it as it spurted against her womb.

Haley closed her eyes in complete satisfaction. Nothing she’d ever experienced could ever come close to this. It had been simply amazing. Her body still shivered in the aftermath of her climax. Jayson stroked her belly as it jumped around doing somersaults inside of her.

“Fuck! When I get my breath,” Joshua began. “I’ll clean you up, Haley.”

“I’ve got a better idea,” Jayson said, his voice just as weak. “Let’s run a bath and all get in it.”

“Sounds good to me,” Joshua agreed. “Haley?”

“Just leave me here. I’m done for.”

Joshua and Jayson chuckled. She opened one eye to look at them.

“Sorry, baby. You’re going with us. Jayson, go run the water and let me know when it’s about ready.” He wrapped an arm over her waist and draped his leg over hers.

She was dimly aware that he was claiming her as his by holding her like that. She knew that if she tried to get up, he’d hold her down just because he could. It should have bothered her. Instead, it felt right. She realized that she wanted to belong to them. It didn’t awaken her independent nature like she thought it would have.

  “Bath’s ready!”

Joshua rolled off the bed, and then he reached and picked her up in his arms.

“I could walk. Your legs are still shaking.”

“My legs are not shaking.” He huffed out a breath.

She giggled, holding on tight in case his arms gave out. She wasn’t one of their rail-thin models. That thought sobered her some, and she frowned.

“Hey, what’s the frown for, Haley?” Jayson stood up in the tub to glare at Joshua. “What did you say to her?”

“Nothing. What’s wrong, Haley? Are you hurting somewhere?”

“No,” she whispered. “Just wondering how long this is going to last before you get tired of me.”

Joshua growled and stepped into the tub with her. Then he let her slide down his body to stand up as well. He sat down, pulling her down in his lap. Jayson took her feet and began to massage them.

“Never! We will never get tired of you, Haley. We told you this isn’t a fling. This is for keeps. We want you forever. Jayson and I were trying to give you some time to let it sink in, but we want to marry you, baby girl.”

Haley frowned at them. Then she shook her head.

“You can’t mean that. How do you know you’ll still want me a year down the road? I’m nothing like the women you’ve always taken out. Why would you want me when you could have anyone else?”

“Fuck those other women, Haley. They didn’t mean a damn thing. You’re all that matters. We’ve loved you for years. We’ve just been waiting for you to be ready.”

“I–I don’t know what to say. I need to think. I need to go home and think.”

“Jayson, bathe her and help her get dressed.” Joshua stood up and climbed out of the tub after depositing her on his brother’s lap.

  “Where is he going?”

“He needs to calm down. He doesn’t take rejection well where you’re concerned. Fuck, neither do I.”

“I’m not rejecting you. I need to think. You’ve just told me that you love me and have for years. That’s a little much for me to take in when you’ve never indicated that you felt that way about me at all.” She pushed his hands away as he tried to bathe her. She stood up and climbed out of the tub before he could stop her. Then she grabbed a towel and began drying off. She threw it at Jayson and walked naked into the bedroom to put on her clothes. She had them almost all the way on when Jayson walked out of the bathroom.

“Haley, don’t go. Let’s talk. We should have talked to you before now. We jumped the gun.”

“You think?” She pulled on her boots and stood up. “I don’t need all of this macho bullshit. I’ve had my fill of it already. Don’t bother seeing me out. I know my way.”

She stomped out of the room and down the stairs. She picked up the pace as tears formed in her eyes. She would not cry here. She refused to. By the time she made it outside, she realized she was without a car. Jayson walked out still pulling on his shirt. He had a resigned expression on his face.

After opening the door for her, he circled around the truck and climbed into the cab. When he turned the truck around and started down the mile-long drive, Haley swallowed around the lump in her throat feeling as if she was making a huge mistake. Well, she didn’t care right now. They didn’t have the right to screw around with her feelings.

Fifteen minutes later, Jayson pulled into her drive. She was out of the truck and unlocking the door before he’d even put it in park. The tears were right there, ready to fall.

Jayson grabbed her arm before she walked through the door. She didn’t look at him, just looked down at his hand on her arm. He dropped it and backed
away. Haley closed the door and set the locks. Then she sat in the middle of the living room floor and cried.

  * * * *

“What the fuck do you mean she’s changed her number?” Joshua turned and looked at Jayson.

  “Well, you told her to.”

“I expected her to give us her number when she did.” He hauled back and kicked the bale of hay he’d been carrying.

“Well, all I know is that when I tried her number to see if she was okay the afternoon, it said that number was disconnected or no longer in service. We’ve lost her, Joshua.”

“We never had her, Jayson.” He sat down on the bale of hay and pulled off his hat and wiped his brow with his shirt sleeve.

“What are we going to do about it?”

“Nothing. She’s made her decision. Nothing we can do to change it now.”

“I can’t believe you’re just going to give up like that. I thought you loved her. I sure as hell do.”

Joshua jumped to his feet and got in Jayson’s face.

“Hell, yeah, I love her, but we can’t make her love us, Jayson. Don’t you see? She doesn’t love us or she wouldn’t have left.”

“What the fuck did you do when you walked out of that bathroom, Joshua? You as good as told her you didn’t love her.”

Joshua stood there face to face with his brother. Then his shoulders slumped, and he backed away.

“Doesn’t matter now. She’s gone. I screwed up. Is that what you wanted to hear?”

“It’s a start, but what I really want to hear is how you plan to fix it.”

“I guess when I know that, I’ll tell you.” He stomped off, heading toward the house.

When he walked inside, he threw his hat across the room and stood there breathing hard. He’d been trying to get her out of his mind for two days now. Never mind that he knew it was useless. She was too ingrained inside of him. Maybe he could have before he tasted her the first time, before he’d made love to her, but not now. Now she would haunt him forever.

Didn’t Jayson realize that he would do anything to get her back, but that she had made up her mind that she didn’t want them? She had changed her phone number and hadn’t given it to them, her best friends. Where did that leave them? Out of her life, evidently.

He ran both hands through his hair. Then he walked over and picked up his hat as he walked into the kitchen to make some coffee. What he needed more was a stiff drink of whiskey, but he’d have to wait for that. He didn’t drink hard alcohol during the week. There was too much to do and not enough time for a hangover if he ended up with one. Considering the reason he wanted something to drink, he’d end up with a hell of a hangover.

He poured himself a cup of the rich dark roast and sat at the kitchen table. Why did she need to think about it? What was there to think about? They loved her. They wanted to marry her. If she didn’t want to marry them, they’d move her in with them and live together. He wanted his name on her, but to get her there with them, he’d forgo that.

He shook his head, that couldn’t be it. There had to be another reason. What had Jayson said that she said? Something about macho bullshit, and she had already dealt with that. He sighed and sipped the cooling coffee.

Did she think he was macho acting? Is that what she was saying? He had walked off because she’d hurt him. She had taken his profession of love and thrown it back at him. What was he supposed to do?

And fuck, was she comparing him to Matt? He was nothing like that slimeball. He would never hit a woman, especially Haley. Yeah, he probably came on strong sometimes when he was worried, but he wasn’t excessive. He swallowed a mouthful of coffee and almost choked. That was it. She thought she was being railroaded into a relationship with them and didn’t like feeling like she was forced. She was just as stubborn as he was and put her foot down as a matter of principle.

He was sure he could win her back. He’d have to say he was sorry, but he could do that. Maybe. Maybe he was wrong about that, though. If saying he was sorry was all that it would take, why had she changed her phone number without telling them the new number? So they could go over to her house and talk to her through the damn door if they had to.

Joshua downed the rest of the coffee and stood up. He turned off the coffeemaker and walked back outside to look for Jayson. They would go over to her house that night and talk to her. They would work it all out before they left.

He smiled for the first time in two days. Things were looking up.

  Chapter Ten

Things weren’t looking too good as far as Haley was concerned. She hadn’t heard from the men. Yeah, she’d changed her number and not given it to them, but she wanted them to come to her. How would she know that they truly did love her if they just dropped her like that?

She sighed and finished dressing. She had promised to go out to eat with Cindy. She was sure the other woman wanted to find out what was going on with her and the twins. Hell, she would like to know the same thing. She couldn’t tell Cindy anything if she didn’t know the answers.

She stared at her phone. She could call and give them her phone number without saying anything else to them. Then they would know that she still cared about them. Love? She wasn’t sure about that. Love meant a lot of things and some of them she hadn’t seen with Joshua and Jayson yet.

Love meant you never had to say you were sorry, right? Bullshit. They needed to apologize to her for acting like assholes. Yeah, maybe she owed them an apology, too, for walking away from them. Still, they were the ones who had declared their love. She wasn’t sure if she could believe it, though.

The doorbell rang. She checked to see who it was. Cindy stood at the door. Plastering a smile on her face, she let the other woman inside.

“Hey, are you ready? I don’t want to lose our reservation.”

“Let me get my purse and I’ll be ready.” She grabbed her purse off the kitchen bar and followed the other woman out to her car after locking up the house.

They made it to the restaurant in plenty of time to get their table. As soon as they sat down, the waiter came for their drink order.

“I’ll have a Corona and a glass of water.” Haley noticed that Cindy lifted her brows at her.

“I’ll have a glass of iced tea.”

  “What?” Haley asked.

“It’s a weeknight and you’re having a beer. That’s not like you. What gives?”

“Oh, hell. Everything is messed up. I knew if I got involved with Joshua and Jayson outside of our friendship that things would get screwed up.”

“What’s wrong? I thought you all were taking it slow.”

“So did I, but they told me that they loved me and had for several years. They’ve just been waiting for me to wake up and fall in love with them.”

  “They said that?” Cindy asked.

“Well, not in so many words, but basically, yes. Then they wanted to marry me. We haven’t been out but one time, and when I said I needed to think, that I didn’t know what to do, Joshua walked off. Jayson didn’t because he had to take me home.”

“Have they tried to call you since then?”

The waiter returned with their drinks and to take their order. Once he left, Haley sighed.

“Well, I changed my number, remember? They don’t have it, but they could come over and see me or call me at work if they really wanted to.”

“I don’t know, Haley. Men are proud animals. They don’t like to have to grovel.”

“It wouldn’t be groveling if all they did was come over and say they wanted to talk.”

“Then why don’t you go over there?”

“Because I want them to be sure they love me before we go any further. I’m nothing like the other women they’ve dated. Why would they date skinny women all these years and then ask someone like me to marry them all of a sudden? It doesn’t make sense to me.”

“Wow, Haley. It all seems too complicated and love shouldn’t be that way. How do you feel about them? Do you love them?”

“God, I don’t know. I haven’t had time to really think about it and them like that. I needed more time. They’ve been my best friends since grade school, Cindy. You don’t just change gears in a week.”

“Sometimes you do when it’s love. Maybe you don’t love them, and that’s the whole reason you’re having problems with the situation.”

“Then I lose them, because we can’t go back to being friends after this.” She felt the tears prick at her eyelids.

“Aw, honey. I’m sorry. I wish I could say something to help you, but you’ve got to figure it out yourself. You’re talking about the rest of your life.”

“I know. I just don’t know what to do.” She turned up her beer and drained it.

“Well, the first thing is that you don’t need to be drinking on a work night. No more Coronas.”

“Then I want a Diet Coke.” She realized she was pouting but couldn’t help it.

“When they bring the food, we’ll ask then.”

They talked about work and what was going on in Cindy’s life all through dinner. When they were finished, they paid the ticket and walked outside. Cindy drove her home with a promise to see her Saturday night at the bar. When she walked in the house, she felt the oppressive weight of loneliness hit her. She hadn’t really thought about losing them as friends until now. She’d only been concerned about losing them as her lovers.

She dropped her purse on the bar and headed to the bathroom to change clothes. She didn’t feel like doing anything and tomorrow was a work day. She opted to head to bed early and maybe get an early start in the morning.

She brushed her teeth and washed her face before pulling on a T-shirt and climbing into bed. She was still tossing and turning when someone knocked on her door. She frowned. Who would it be at that hour? She looked at the clock and groaned. It was only nine. After climbing out of bed and donning a robe, she checked to see who it was and nearly cried. Joshua and Jayson stood outside her door waiting.
