  “He went to let the locksmith in to work on your windows.”

  “We called one. We trust him to do a good job.   “Okay. Thanks. You can send me the bill and I’ll pay it.”

  Tanner didn’t say anything. He pulled out the cinnamon rolls and set them on top of the stove. He pulled down a plate and transferred them to the plate before spreading the glaze across them.
